ADOPT A SHELTER PET MONTH

HR 9075 and SR 2820 sponsored by Rep. Faye Culp (R-Tampa and Senator Dennis Jones (R-Clearwater) declare April 2010 Adopt a Shelter Pet Month. The Senate resolution was adopted by publication on April 6 and the House version will be adopted by publication on April 20. The House version differs slightly from the Senate version, but both encourage Floridians to save a life by adopting a shelter pet.
